With over 17 years in the development, consultancy, and management side of the restaurant industry, Mark Weiss brings a highly diverse and creative dynamic to the Whisk Group.
Prior to Whisk Group, Mark had a 10-year career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC, continuously increasing his capacity and responsibilities. In his last position with the luxury hotel company, Mark was Regional Vice President of International Operations overseeing the strategy, operations, and management of the food and beverage, and rooms divisions of Ritz-Carlton's international hotels. As a key decision maker in the strategic planning of new development projects, Mark was responsible for hotel openings, conceptual design of all restaurants, and redesigning and repositioning of existing dining and entertainment facilities.
Mark's previous career highlights include Executive Assistant Manager and Director of Food & Beverage positions at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, CA; restaurant management and consulting positions in London and Amsterdam; and managing the food and beverage operations at the Four Seasons Auckland, where he started his restaurant career. |
